Sentry is a 24" x 24" original art mixed media painting inspired by Makuʻu Point where a rocky outcropping seems to be to be keeping watch and mitigating the impact of the waves.  My seascapes are somewhat abstracted to especially point to the stillness and dynamism I experience near the ocean. The view faces east, so this is the last light coming over Mauna Kea in the evening.
