Sentry is a 24" x 24" original art mixed media painting inspired by Makuʻu Point where a rocky outcropping seems to be to be keeping watch and mitigating the impact of the waves.

Sentry is an abstracted seascape exploring the stillness and dynamism of the coastal shoreline. The view faces east, so this is the last light coming over Mauna Kea in the evening.
