Little Brother is a 24" x 24" original mixed media painting with a lot of history and texture. It contains drawing, pencil lines, and collage. There are many energetic stray marks hinting at a spiritual enegry elivening the work just below the surface.
 
I titled the work Little Brother because of the ways the cloud and the  trees echoed the same shapes, almost as if parts of nature were family members.
 
This is an imagined scene based on the rollong hills of Waimea on the Big Island of Hawai'i.
